Licensed Academy
OSS Academy® is a licensed training provider operating under the authority
of the State of Texas and serving professionals throughout the United States
and U.S. territories. We offer numerous courses certified by the Texas
Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE), along with additional training for
law enforcement, corrections, telecommunications, security, and related
public-safety disciplines. From our facilities in Spring, Texas, experienced
instructors provide practical, adult-focused instruction through online,
classroom, field, and other distance-learning formats.
Training Credit & Reporting
For Texas-licensed peace officers, corrections officers, and
telecommunications professionals, OSS Academy® reports eligible completed
training directly through TCLEDDS to the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement
(TCOLE). Reporting is typically completed 4-5 times per week,
excluding U.S. federal holidays. Professionals from other states or
territories may print available course-completion certificate formats for
submission to their agency or applicable POST or licensing authority.
Subject Matter Experts
Our instructional team includes subject matter experts and instructional
designers with professional experience across law enforcement, corrections,
intelligence, security, and federal enforcement environments. Courses are
developed with adult learners in mind and focus on clear, practical
instruction. Agencies may also contact OSS Academy® to discuss training
tailored to a particular operational topic, policy need, or professional
development objective.

911-telecommunications courses. Our online programs are designed to provide
flexible access to professional training while supporting individual and

Our training model combines the practical experience of subject matter experts
with instructional design focused on adult learners. Online courses are
intended to provide convenient access to relevant training, while classroom,
field, and customized agency instruction may be available for selected topics
and training needs.
For eligible Texas licensees, completed training is reported to TCOLE through
TCLEDDS. Professionals outside Texas may use available completion certificates
when documenting training with their agency or appropriate licensing or POST
authority.
